About Thrive Doula Services

Meet Nikkeria
Certified Postpartum Doula (CPD) and Newborn Care Specialist
Thank you for being here!
I am a CAPPA certified postpartum doula and Newborn Care Specialist. I also have a degree in Public Health from the University of Colorado Denver. While studying at CU Denver, maternal and infant health topics were my favorite subjects to explore and research, and I began to become more and more passionate about helping families during postpartum.

Fun Facts:
- I'm a cat mama to Simba & Jade
- I love sweets!
- Horror is my favorite movie genre!
- Fall is my favorite season!
As a doula, it is important for me to be inclusive as there is more than one way to parent and families can be made in numerous ways. I have worked with parents that bedshare and parents that sleep train, parents that breastfeed and those that don’t. It's important for each parent to have the information they need make informed decisions and to feel supported by me as their doula. I’ve enjoyed building relationships with my clients and hope that they feel comfortable leaning on me for support even after I’ve left them.

In my free time, you can find me baking or trying out a new recipe, rewatching a tv show I've seen 1000 times, spending time with my husband and sweet kitties, reading, or working out.
